Correcting a Flooding Backyard

All of the water coming from the gutter leaders was pooling in the lawn, and layers of clay in the soil blocked natural water dissipation. By extending gutter leaders in buried drainpipes into a dry well installed below the clay layer, water was contained until it naturally percolated.
